Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the mobile and web application “Daily Devotional - One Minute With God” (the “Service”), provided by Mladen Fistrek (“we”, “us”, the “Seller”). By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or continuing to use the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

1. Who you are contracting with

The Service is owned and operated by Mladen Fistrek. Your agreement for the use of the Service is with Mladen Fistrek. You confirm that you are of legal age in your country or have permission from a parent or guardian, and that any organisation you represent has authorised you to accept these terms.

2. The Service

The Service provides 365 daily devotional readings in Croatian, English, German and Spanish, with an optional paid Premium plan that adds audio narration, offline access, a personal journal, favourites, reminders, extended AI reflections, an ad-free experience and use on up to two devices.

3. Your account

• Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• Keep your login credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
• Premium access is personal and limited to the number of devices included in your plan.

4. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:

• use the Service for unlawful purposes, fraud, spam or abuse;
• infringe intellectual property or other rights of any person;
• interfere with security, upload malware, probe, scan or scrape the Service;
• reverse engineer, resell, redistribute or circumvent technical or plan limits;
• share paid content or account access outside your household.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, devotional texts, audio and branding, remains the property of Mladen Fistrek or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes within the plan you have selected. Scripture quotations remain the property of their respective rights holders.

6. AI-generated content

Extended reflections and audio narration may be generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence. Such output may occasionally be inaccurate or incomplete and is provided for personal devotional use only. It is not pastoral, medical, legal, financial or other professional advice, and you remain responsible for how you use it. We may filter, restrict or remove content and suspend accounts that attempt to generate unlawful, hateful, deceptive or otherwise prohibited content.

7. Your content

Journal entries, favourites and settings you create remain yours. You grant us a limited licence to host and process this content solely to operate the Service for you. If you believe content in the Service infringes your rights, contact us at the address below and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it; repeat infringers lose access.

8. Payments, subscriptions and taxes

Premium is offered as a monthly (EUR 2.99) or yearly (EUR 29.99) subscription, with a 7-day free trial where indicated. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you can cancel at any time from the Subscription screen in the app.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. See our Refund Policy for how to request a refund.

9. Availability and warranties

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are disclaimed.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we exclude indirect, consequential or special damages such as loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use or breach of these terms.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, Premium features end and your data may be exported on request within 30 days, after which it may be deleted.

12. Changes

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the Service or the law. Material changes will be announced in the app; continued use after the change means acceptance.

13. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia, and the competent courts of Croatia have jurisdiction, without affecting mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence. Questions: support@godlydevotion.com.
